Location & Schedule of Prom Events
The CLHS Prom will once again be graciously hosted by the Surf Ballroom in Clear Lake
Grand March begins at 8:00 p.m.
Parent and guests who wish to view the Grand March will not be allowed to enter the Surf until 7:30 p.m. and must enter through the northeast parking lot door.
Those watching the Grand March are asked to park in the outer rows of the parking lot to allow students who are attending Prom to park closer to the building.
A donation of $1.00 per person to watch the Grand March is requested to help defray the costs of the Prom.
Dancing is from 9:00 p.m. until midnight
Ticket Information
The beginning date of ticket sales will be announced in March of 2010. Ticket sales will end at 3:30 on Friday, April 23, 2010.
All tickets MUST be purchased in advance and are $15.00 per person. There will be NO tickets sold at the door.
Out of Town/School Dates
Dates from out of town or out of school are allowed at the Prom but those dates must be registered with Mrs. Schumacher in room 115 of the high school . The date for this registration will be announced in March of 2010. In addition, The Clear Lake High School Prom is open to any junior or senior from Clear Lake High School and his/her date.
Photograph & Video Information
Skarpness Photography is once again taking all formal Prom photos at the Surf. Photo price lists will be available from Mrs. Schumacher in room 115 of the high school The date for picking up this information will be announced in March of 2010. Payment for photos is due at the time of the photos.
Amos Mix will once again be videotaping the Grand March, Prom, and CARES events. Students need to see Mrs. Schumacher in room 115 of the high school after the Prom to place orders.
Orders will be taken from Monday, April 26 – Friday, April 30, 2010. The cost of the DVD is $10.00. If paying by check, please make checks payable to Mix Video Productions. Cash is also accepted. All DVDs MUST be paid for at the time of order.
2009 PROM/CARES DVDs have all been distributed.
